Ruth started her carrier in insurance in New York. She was there from 2008-2010, joining the Shomer team in 2016. She now works in the Health & Benefits division, dealing directly with carriers on behalf of clients in order to manage their benefits administration. She ensures timely member-level changes and works with clients to assist them with special projects.

Every day, Shomer’s Health & Benefits Division guides clients to the best benefits option based on the changes in their businesses, employees, and general needs. Ruth plays a huge part in this process by following up on policy changes, confirming rates and coverages, and being the liaison between client and carrier.
