Gilbert Alvarez
Gilbert Alvarez joined Shomer in 2015, and brought over 10 years of risk management experience with him. Gilbert also earned his OSHA certificate in Healthcare Safety in 2016.
Gilbert has been a key player since his induction to the Shomer team. His expertise lies in ensuring clients have their safety programs in place, and that said programs are being effectively utilized. By reviewing loss and injury trends, Gilbert and the risk management team are able to create customized service and improvement plans for each client.
Along with creating these service plans, he performs on-site trainings such as Workers’ Compensation 101, Dementia Patient Training, and how to use the software programs that Shomer offers its clients.
His ultimate goal is to improve the workplace by reducing risk and premiums, and improving morale.
