Melissa Ortiz joined the Shomer team early in 2019 in an effort to expand her knowledge and experience within the health & benefits industry.
Coming from HealthNet, Melissa brings 3 years of experience with the carrier-side of benefits to Shomer clients. This has given her unique connections within the industry, as well as allowing for further development of Shomer procedures to facilitate simple and speedy quoting, enrollments, and customer service.
At HealthNet, she was responsible for maintaining major accounts. Being accustomed to the responsibility that comes with handling large clients, she has seamlessly transitioned and adopted Shomer’s high standards of client servicing and attention to detail.
